Hello world!

Thanks to the blogdown package, my personal blog is now up and running. I have followed the book instructions, most things went quite smoothly. I am also grateful to Alison for valuable advice and hints in her blog, to netlify for hosting and to rbind.io for providing a domain. I promise a follow-up post, in which I will describe in more detail how I set this blog up.
